…keep your arms locked in a safe at home, and bear all the bitchy, punitive things we choose to do to you while we work up the power to confiscate them.
“(T)he First Circuit of the US Court of Appeals ruled that the right to self-defense is at its “zenith inside the home,” and the right is “plainly more circumscribed” outside.
“The “core right” protected by the Second Amendment is for citizens to use arms in defense of home, the court said in its decision. “Public carriage of firearms for self-defense falls outside the perimeter of this core right.”

Outside your home, you will be an unarmed victim, vulnerable to any aggression by anyone who is armed. Like all government employees and their sub-contractors. Live free or die is now a contemporary motto. Maybe it always was…
The good news is that on appeal, this law will be struck down my SCOTUS. Ah, sweet thought!
Wait! I am not anonymous! I am feralfae! And now I will stop irritating everyone with all these posts. * *
Had the same problem, feralfae. It seems that on occasion the site requires that you once again “sign in” at the bottom.
The 2nd is not about self-defense or hunting. They’ve turned the thing upside-down so it will be easier to confiscate when the gov say “we’ll defend you!”.
