Presented to him by a neighbor, who even gift-wrapped it.
Verily, doth he like it a lot.
But I remember the digestive cataclysm I brought upon us both by giving him a leather bone shortly after bringing him home, and I don’t want a repeat. So I cut off a third of one for him. It didn’t last long at all and so far we’re not paying any terrible price. He is older now, and hasn’t left me any horrible gelatinous presents in months. If all remains cool after his morning dump I’ll let him party a little heartier tomorrow.
MORNING ETA:Yup, he got a minor case of the squirts. No Christmas present for Tobie. 🙁
As long as the treat isn’t made in China, I’d be good with it.
It’s apparently made in Viet Nam, which is rather too close to China for my comfort.
Merry Christmas Joel!
Have you tried a product called FirmUp? Powdered pumpkin, some styles with cranberry. As the name implies, it’s for digestive issues. Mix it in with my dogs kibble, seems to help, maybe. Might be worth a shot. Amazon. Or even some canned pumpkin filling.
It must be pure canned pumpkin, NOT pumpkin pie filling. It does work. Just a couple of tablespoons mixed into the kibble. I keep a can or two in stock.
