He knew I was there, he looked right at me when I shifted. And to my shock he hung around long enough for me to go get the camera. He wasn’t in a hurry to end the evening fun, I guess.
For a while he looked like he was thinking of pouncing on something – they have more or less the same body language as a housecat* – then decided “screw it” and sauntered quite unhurriedly down the driveway.

Who knows, maybe you should leave some bits of meat out for him to stay nearby to eradicate the rat population. That is probably what has him in your area to begin with..
Well that’s one way to control the rat population!!!
Like most felines, they are curious when they aren’t being threatened. Beautiful animals.

Well, not like “having a dog,” certainly, but if compatible arrangements could be made, having occasional visits to deal with the rodent population might not be a totally bad thing.
I’d still the .44 close at hand, tho…..
