It suddenly occurs to me…

…that maybe the Rapture actually happened Saturday and I didn’t notice. It was a busy weekend. I don’t actually know any Christians except S&L and I often go weeks without seeing them, so the fact that nobody seems to be missing isn’t necessarily significant. But I do note that my blog traffic fell to unusually low levels over the weekend.

Hello? Hello? [tap tap] Anybody out there?

    All us sinners was drinkin.
Were still here just hung over.
    (Party On)

BTW, I don’t think most of the Christians I know will get to heaven, ML excepted.

They didn’t want this cranky old Pagan.

  3. Camping has now explained that Jesus did in fact show up Saturday, but that the Rapture is now scheduled simultaneously with Earth’s fiery destruction on October 21

I’ve extended my Rapture Financial Security Services offer.

I think another Rapture party is in order. Having the Rapture coincide with the Earth-consuming fireball will complicate the plans for a skeet shoot, but the barbecue should go a lot quicker.

Saw a funny cartoon at MY CRAZY UNCLE blog – guy carrying a sign with THE WORLD DID END SATURDAY AND YOU DIDN’T NOTICE BECAUSE YOU WERE ON FACEBOOK. Or something like that.

Maybe we iz already Raptured and don’t even know it.

I had a $1200 water heater get raptured on Saturday.
    Does that count?

As Joel knows so well… plumbing and attendant fixtures get “raptured” all the time. sigh

Anyway, I just have a feeling that the Creator isn’t too amused with people who pretend to speak for him…

Wouldn’t it be fun if those were the folks “taken” and only figured out their serious error afterwards?

And thanks, Anonymous… I’ll be happy if “heaven” is Wyoming, and I get to stay here in spirit forever. 🙂

It’s my sincerest hope that I won’t have to spend eternity with all those folks who think THEY’re going to be raptured first. K

To the stake with the heretic!
