Situational Awareness: You need some, lady.

I couldn’t decide whether this was a ‘real’ deer or a pet. At the end I laughed till I choked.

Around here it would have been a dog pack or a mountain lion or something, and the video would have had a different ending.

Hahaha! She was looking way too serious anyway.

  2. Paul B says:

I have deer do that to me on the ground doing nothing. They are inquisitive to a degree which will be their down fall. If you are hunting them anyway.

  3. Vollinger says:

Looks like it’s, uh, relieving itself right as the video starts.
I thought that only happened in the woods.

    Vollinger

I think that is just bears….

  5. Mike says:

From the way deer act around here, I’d hazard a guess that this wasn’t a pet. Deer like this frequent our back 40 on a very regular basis.

As for situational awareness. Joel, seriously? She’s a kid focusing on playing a harp in a field, not a guy tromping around in the high desert with death and mayhem around every corner. 🙂

  6. John says:

Still Mike, a good “heads up” reminder to all. That young gal is not bad with that harp.
