Ian and Karl have struggled somewhat with their new InRange TV product. Despite fine content, the first episode in September had some technical issues and caught a lot of flack for the pay format. They’ve made some changes, switched platforms, and gone ad-based rather than PPV and hopefully that will work. The new episode is available here, though I must report that I can’t get the video to run on my non-standard machine.
I have seen the clips on testing WWII exploding ammo offline, though. It’s worth your time if you’d like to see the horrific things a tiny bit of nearly-ancient explosive can do to a block of ballistic gelatin.

I got it to run by by loading it in Internet Exploder (appropriately enough).
The butterfly fluttering by was a nice touch.
The presentation has some rough spots. In particular, the inset window looks a little amateurish and sometimes covers up main action, Karl searching through his iPhone for quotes is distracting, and the political rant at the end seems out of place in a “facts and hard data” kind of show.
That being said, the premise, the dialogue, and most of the camera work look great. While the flaws can be distracting they’re all fixable and even with them I’d happily watch another episode. I’m a huge fan of the “theory and test” type of show and the two of them do it well.
Oh, and no issues running it on Chrome on a Windows 7 PC.
No problems viewing video with Pale Moon/ windows 7 . Like the new format, have no problem with a Gisele trigger ad. Will be visiting again, along with Forgotten Weapons…
