Can’t wait to open that document.

Some of the spam that lands in my inbox is really quite entertaining.

Not the first time I’ve gotten this one, if my memory is correct. I’m sure they’d appriciate payment by the 20th, but their patience seems infinite so I’ll keep procrastinating.

Don’t need to procrastinate about opening that attachment, though. I’ll just keep refusing to go near it at all. I’m an old fuddy-duddy and something of a helpless babe when it comes to computer stuff, but not even I’m that clueless.

  1. Not too surprisingly, I’ve received an email substantially similar to this; not identical, but perhaps it indicates a new “Hormel Ham” trend.

Like you, I’ve refused to open the warning document link.

It’s amazing, though, how much more sophisticated these people have become.

I’m just wondering what you have done with the bus you have obviously purchased without letting us in on this development. Planning a coast-to-coast vacation tour, just you and your new pooch?

    😉

I carefully keep it out of posted photos, along with the rest of my exotic car collection.

If I remember correctly, you have a Jurassic non-windows operating system. Since viruses are written for common systems, you might actually enjoy a certain measure of immunity.

Like you, I get several of these phishing emails every day and of course I have to take a peek (minus opening the links) because they are very entertaining. Why just this morning, a kind fellow from the United Nations informed me that there was around ten million in a Swiss bank account just sitting there waiting for me to collect it. All I had to do was click on a link and provide them with some info…

Don’t yo have an ex whose info you could provide them, Mike? Show her there’s no hard feelings and all that…

Oh Mark, you re an evil man. No ex wives in this guy’s closet. But there was this girl in high school, way back in the early seventies… :^)
