This chaps my ass, to be truthful. I have no reason to want to go to the big town about 50 miles away, where I will piss away my whole day in the back seat of a pickup while my neighbors run their errands. But the only reason I can afford my glaucoma meds is because I got a discount card from the local electrical co-op – amuse yourselves trying to grok the full irony of that – and the only close pharmacy does not honor that card. Wal-Mart does. So to Wal-Mart I must go, on average once a month.

Don’t know how you found that discount card, but is it worth time on the Internet to find others and have a choice? Maybe there’s a Desert Hermit Frugal Shopper’s web site? Or a glaucoma discount meds web site?

Dunno if you are aware of it but, Walmars will send your prescription to you by mail if you sign up on the Walmars pharmacy internet page. You have to sign up for a general walmars account but it is linked to your prescriptions by your email addy, a password and DOB. They even allow automatic refills sent on the dates you select, reminders and all kinds of other stuff like seeing how many scripts you/ve had filled, how many are left and a log of how much you’ve paid for taxes and shit but I can’t imagine that means squat to you. It certainly don’t to me. lol
Shipping is $4.97 but it costs me 6 gals of gas to go to the nearest wallmars round trip so the shipping is worth it to me. I dunno if they honor your discount online as I don’t have one but I cannot imagine that they don’t.
