Sorry, very busy day.

We’ve been running around all day – and in fact I’m running out the door right now. Pix…

Laddie insists on checking out every pile of junk behind every outbuilding and I still don’t know if he’s at all snake-averse, so he’s making me a nervous wreck. But we’ll work it out.

Dig this crazy pedigree…

Dug himself a hole. He’s home and settled it looks like. Cant wait to hear more.

  2. Claire says:

And look at that big puppy smile!

I hope you, J, and B are having some good neighborhood fun tonight with S&L or D&L or the whole gulchy gang.

  3. Mike says:

Very nice, glad to see that Laddie is doing normal doggy things. Love the big old doggy grin. It will be interesting to see how things work out between you two alpha males. :^)

  4. Buck. says:

That registered name isn’t so bad. My dumb dog, who deserves no distinctions so close to royalty because she is a pure bred dork, is “Artic Luv’s Event Horizon”. That’s a $250 handle in an two bit twit.

  5. jabrwok says:

At least dogs still get to have sexes rather than “genders”. If only people were so privileged!

Anyway, that pet (heh) peeve out of the way, best wishes for the new arrangement and housemate. Laddie looks like he’ll be fun to have around:-).

  6. Mark Matis says:

Congratulations to both you and Laddie. I hope you two have many good years together.

And now you need to start entering him in dog shows since he’s registered!

  7. free.and.true says:

    That’s one happy-looking desert dawg!

I hope he’s already bringing smiles to your face too, Joel.

  8. velojym says:

I’m glad you were there to take care of him. When I was in animal control, we’d run across orphaned pups more often than I cared, and if not adopted, they frequently met the same fate as any other stray.

  9. Mark Matis says:

And has he caught his first hummingbird yet? Or don’t they deserve his attention?

  10. Comrade X says:

    Laddie does look very happy.

    Very good job everyone!

  11. Charlotte says:

He’s a digger! Put him to work digging out those target stantions!
