I picture craftsmen, somewhere near an arms bazaar in Peshawar, rolling on the ground howling with laughter. Nearby, a grizzled former mujahid drinks tea and ponders dark thoughts, wondering how Americans ever got such a fearsome rep.
What I wonder…this thing looks like it’s been fired. But that can’t really be true.
Duct tape, it needs duct tape.
Oh shit, RUN! IT’S A GHOST GUN!!!!
I rarely side with the popo about gun confiscations, but they’ve done this guy a solid.
This maker did the best they could with the resources available and for that I applaud them.
Someone put a LOT of effort into this. Do NOT hire him to do anything!
Amazing what you can accomplish with pliers, JB weld, aluminum tubing, and a couple of grams of meth.
I’m particularly impressed by the addition of a bead sight – a 410 with a 6” barrel is something’s that just calls for *accurate* shooting…
I know seeing is believing…but True desperation?
Is that a “Prancing Pony” logo on the side?
Is Colt farming out more engineering these days? Snark.
Hey Joel, are you in the way of those wildfires in AZ?
Do you have a plan in case?
Stay safe.
It has a flashlight, it’s tactical!
I might laugh at this. Then again , I remember when the old Vietnamese neighbor showed me the
12 guage shot gun he had made out of a 3/4 inch piece of water pipe.
Knowing this , let’s me know not to fear my neighbor if SHTF. I’ll be loaning him a real shotgun tho… Strange , that he and I were in Vietnam fifty years ago , he as a local , and me as an invader lol.
Now here we are as neighbors in another jungle far away from Nam….
Polimath, I’m nowhere near any active fires right now. But this time of year we’re usually downwind of several from time to time. it’s like a tornado watch in the Texas panhandle: nothing to get worked up about but it’s best to have a plan.
Normally we don’t worry very much about fire in our immediate area because there’s no way for it to spread. But thanks to last year’s wet summer and this year’s dry winter we’re up to our collective ass in dry grass and weeds, so it’s kind of a concern.
Looks like something out of Fallout.
Nice gizmo, but I would be more impressed if it were a black powder pistol that fired fine gravel. This design relies upon the nice, high-tech shotgun shell — which you won’t find lying around after the zombie apocalypse. With black powder, you could build the whole thing yourself out of bits and pieces you find along the road.
Best I can figure is that if you have to lose it right away (in an inner city) you could just toss it and it might blend in and not be recogniseable as a firearm. Hell – it might just come apart in pieces – further hampering discovery and prosecution.
Speaking of tossing it… might not be drop-safe – at any height.
That is a Thing Of Beauty!
Needs some drywall screws, baling wire and a Pop bottle supressor.
