As Ed Driscoll pointed out yesterday, in the beginning was George Takai. Takai, once famously a Star Trek sidekick, has developed an apparently successful later-life career as a professional jackass. Like approximately 100% of all lefties everywhere, Takai decided that what America’s terrorism problem needs is for all the innocent people to be disarmed and helpless by law*. Also guns, gun people and of course the Demon NRA are bad, evil, badly evil, and want to lock up all the asians and kill all the gays. One shudders to imagine what they want to do to the gay asians.
Alas for his theme, it turns out not to be so. As somebody pointed out somewhere, “We don’t want to kill gays. We want to arm them.”

Well, law-abiding gun owners haven’t had time to respond, because they are too busy offering to teach gays — and anyone else, for that matter — how to shoot. And they are offering to cover all expenses.

All the people in that nightclub except the killer were disarmed by law as well as maybe by inclination, and only an approximate 33% of them became casualties. If they’d been armed there could have been a tragedy.
I’m willing to take anyone who hasn’t been shooting out and show them the basics of safety and how to use a gun. I don’t care about the gender ot sexual preferences of the person I should get my name on that list.
Yeah, I’d do it myself, but who’s going to come all the way out here? Anyway, the only two gay guys I know already carry guns.
