I only mention this because I brought it up a few weeks ago, and I don’t know what I was thinking to have phrased my post as if I thought this was really going to stick.
I was wrong, of course. Never take Uncle Joel’s advice about points of law. A federal judge has informed us that of course it’s unconstitutional to expect a long-time congressvermin to follow the law. Laws are for thee, peon, not for he. So my old buddy Conyers is back on the ballot, and Michigan democrats will slap another coat of shellac on him and keep him around for two more years.

Meanwhile, in an alternate reality, the ARLP is cheering this victory for ballot access, signature requirements having been trash canned.
It has to get worse before it changes, so suck it up – and get a retreat
