What this situation needs is more Michael Moore.

Or so he seems to think.

I have now seen two entirely separate articles about how Moore has nothing to say on the subject of the latest Disturbed White* Male.

‘With due respect to those who are asking me to comment on last night’s tragic mass shooting … I no longer have anything to say about what is now part of normal American life,’ Moore wrote.

Need I add he then proceeded to say it at great length? Along with a plug for one of his execrable movies, of course.

*By the same standard that makes Obama a black man, Rodgers is technically Chinese or maybe Malaysian or Indonesian, I’ve seen all three claimed. But never mind.

Thank you for not posting a link to that mans bile.

The left smells blood in the water. They so badly want full on gun control that they can barely contain themselves. The crash is coming, there will be changes both political and social that none of us can imagine today. You cannot have a successful communist/socialist revolution if the Kulaks all have guns. We are in a very dangerous place do not let them compound our problems by taking our guns.

Ah yes, but all of the things Moore and the rest of the virulent civil rights stealing racists fail to make note of is that a lost ALL of the things that are being taped on as necessary “common sense” laws are in fact in place in California.
State AND Federal as well a a local background check.
    Ten day wait.
Mandatory licensure (BFSC card) to buy a gun. Yes, if it’s something you have to take(and possibly fail) a test and pay a fee for and it expires requiring retesting and more fees….it’s a license.
Multiple forms of proof of residency.
    Mandatory safety locks and devices.
    10 round magazine limit.
    Handgun registration and record keeping.
If your shrink thinks you are even possibly dangerous to self or others they are mandated to inform upon you.
    We have all that.
    And it all failed.
    Oh…….big surprise…..it failed.

Well, of course you know the one common-sense gun law they haven’t yet gotten passed. When only soldiers, police and VIP security have (carefully controlled access to) guns, and the penalties for violation are scarier for the herd than the consequences of getting caught without one, then maybe he’ll start thinking there are common-sense gun laws.

And when all animals are equal, he naturally assumes he’ll be allowed to be among the ones that are more equal than others.

Listening to the overheated verbiage on the radio this morning got me to wondering where is the media-proclaimed limit ‘twixt “a few people shot” and “mass shooting”? And if there is a simple numerical limit, what about the time frame? A serial killer is also a mass murderer if the numerical limit is exceeded albeit perhaps over a span of years. Is there an entry in the reporters’ style manual addressing this?

It’s a valid question to which we’re never likely to see an answer. 35 gang bangers can be shot in a single Chicago weekend and it’ll be greeted with a yawn if it’s noticed at all. But let three yuppie kids get shot, and stand back for the sturm und drang. You’d almost think limousine libs value their own kids more than they do the ones without ‘white privilege.’

But it would be wrong to suggest such a thing.
