And speaking of twits…

You really can’t win with these people. Organized gun owners protest innocent black man shot down by police…which proves what racists gun owners are.

I am not making this up.

…police kill far more unarmed black men than anyone else. And over the past few months we’ve seen several notorious examples, some of which have been videotaped. There was, of course, the infamous shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. The NRA and Gun Owners of America didn’t concern themselves with that one. Perhaps if Michael Brown had been armed they might have joined the protests. As it was, their local adherents just bought more guns to protect their homes from rioters.

This must be more of that ‘conversation’ they said they wanted to have last year.

Why does the color of the individual involved matter?

Note that I have a tendency to put my hand close to my firearm in some cases where I am encountering people of color who have saggy pants and hoodies and suchlike, but be that as it may. I still don’t have much problem with decent folks of whatever race, religion, national origin, or sexual preference being armed.

If the Cops do, that’s on them, and I hope they like the lawsuits involved. I only hope that they don’t escape personal liability for their stupidities.

I live in the South, and I know a whole lot of people of color. I know some of them that I’d cheerfully trust behind me in a foxhole. Others wouldn’t get there, but the same thing applies to a lot of the folks of less color that I know. There are some Caucasian folks who I would immediately kill if they showed up in a SHTF situation and wanted to be behind me.

It’s about character, and I can judge that for myself, regardless of melanin content.

I think that in the two most recent examples of black men being shot (Trayvon and the gentle giant) the facts and not the MSM story would seem to support the arguement that these two shooting saved the world from a life long violent crime spree by these two “unarmed” teens.
