oh yeah, that’ll turn out well.

    How about:

Step 1. Move to Canada, Australia, or one of those places that has made firearms illegal.

Step 2. Leave the rest of us the hell alone.

UnReconstructed – Yours is even a better idea and easier, too!

UnReconstructed… The differences between our two countries re gun ownership is not as great as you think. You guys don’t have to be licensed or learn anything about the safe use of firearms. We are licensed which means taking a short course on firearms safety. You can go into any gun shop and get what you want. Depending upon the license we hold so can we. Our licenses are for unrestricted that being long guns with a total length of 26 inches or more. Restricted which are for handguns with a barrel length greater than 4.1 inches and some rifles like the AR-15 series. Then there are the prohibited class for those like me who are grandfathered to have short barred handguns and certain rifles. You have a waiting period for some (hand guns?) guns. With our license we don’t. Mind you this may change if the Liberals form the next government. :^( If it is not in stock you have to order a firearm at a gun shop and wait or have an FFL to mail order it. With out license we can get guns via mail order. You pay a $200 tax stamp for firearms with a barrel shorter that 16 inches. For us the barrel length has to be over 4.1 inches and the total length has to be 26 inches, which means anyone can buy one. The exception to this is that semi-auto has to have an 18.5 inch barrel or longer. For example my home defense gun is a Norinco 12G Remington 870 clone with an 8 inch barrel that I got last year via mail order. The total length is 26.25 inches in length so it is unrestricted, no tax stamp. You guys have large magazines for autos. Our magazines for semi autos are limited to 5 rounds unless they take a pistol mag then it is 10 rounds and hand guns are limited to 10 rounds. As for bolt, lever or pump guns, like you guys there is no limit.

So about your suggestion of sending them up here, it would not work. The anties would hate it up here and cause more trouble than they are worth. So please keep them.

🙁 But we don’t want them anymore!

Can’t you take a few? For a friend? I mean, you have ice floes, don’t you?

  5. Buck says:

It works my nads that you can still buy an Norinco SKS in Canada for $75 from Marstar Inc. if you also buy the spam can of ammo. Oh, and their magazines for things like ARs are restricted with a pop rivet. I have to epoxy mine closed.
I hates you Canadians to pieces.

  6. M J R says:

    @ Joel… You have Alaska.

@ Buck… Marstar SKS deal has dried up. Average price for an SKS is around $200. Oh and hush up about the pop rivet thing. You want to anties to catch on?
