A couple of days ago somebody in comments wanted to know when we’d see a Taurus Tracker review. It’s coming, I promise, but I’ve got some new gear and hotter ammo coming – and this morning I heard it’s not coming til Friday, so dammit – and I want to see how things behave in all their glory.
So far, with a little less than 200 rounds through it it’s kind of a mixed bag. It’s far far superior to the old 431, but that’s more an indictment of the 431 than a paean to the Tracker. All I’ll say now is that it’s an inexpensive revolver and that shows, but it was never meant to be a showpiece. As a boonie gun, it has virtue.
