From Older Brother and another friend of the blog (and long-time TMM correspondent), books I haven’t read before! And a few I have, but not for many years. There’s a huge pile of to-be-read books next to the Lair’s chair, far more than enough to get me through what remains of winter.
Also, in a burst of profligacy I did something I haven’t done in ten years or more…
I bought a new pair of britches. And some t-shirts, in hope that they’ll last better than the ones from the dollar store. Funny: I outgrew the ‘tactical’ thing a long time ago, but nobody believes me because green actually is my favorite color. 🙂

Green is my favorite color too. Very few people understand why I even like OD green. Maybe it comes from having grown up on Marine bases… Maybe not. My sister thinks it is terminally ugly. But then, I wouldn’t wear anything she likes either. 🙂 She loves purple! EEEEWWWW
