McConnell: No vote on Scalia replacement under Obama
But if McConnell declines to put Obama’s nomination on the floor for a vote, it likely would create gridlock for the remainder of the legislative year because angry Democrats would block the passage of other bills.
“Democrats will most likely try to shut everything down in protest,” Bonjean said.
I am perplexed that he says this as if it would be a bad thing.

Oh yes, please. The more gridlock, the better. 🙂
I second that. In fact I’d send out for more gridlock.
But it’s all so fake and disingenuous! If the situation were reversed (a second-term lame duck Republican President, with Democrats the likely winner in the next election) you would see those same politicians clamoring for the President to make a quick appointment. Simultaneously they would be espousing Constitutional theories why the Senate must instantly and favorably consider said appointment.
A pox on all of them.
Since when have the RINO’s not rolled over for Obummer.
McConnell will absolutely allow a vote on this issue, mark my words.
