C’mon, admit it. You’ve got one. That box where all those donated or impulsive or outdated or just plain poor holster choices go. I visited mine this morning in another attempt to dial my inability to move my right shoulder around my desire not to be unarmed and helpless against every little thing.
Yesterday I put on the Prole-killer to go to town, and learned to my surprise that I didn’t have any particular problem drawing it from the holster.

Was it because its holster sits a little lower on the belt than my usual, or just because it’s shorter than the Tracker?
One way to find out. It happens that I do have a Fobus, cut down for my old Taurus 431, that fits the Tracker…

So I dug it out, dusted it off, and strung it on my belt to see if it would help me overcome my “can’t draw the Tracker” problem.
Nope. The Mak is substantially shorter and also substantially lighter than the Taurus, and just happens to fit inside my arm’s currently truncated performance envelope.
So it looks as if the Prole-killer gets a (temporary, I hope) promotion to EDC pistol. Good thing I got more ammo for it.

Sometime it is good to have a ‘junk’ box.
Sure looks good, like a custom made rig. Might never have to drew it with the scary black intimidation factor. 😉
Also figure ‘How many times have I needed it in the past’ and figure that into the equation. The ‘better than a sharp stick’ will work fine, especially if the upstanding citizens nearby are armed as well. The Mak just sez ‘me too!’.
Not a holster box – a holster drawer. Some new, some war surplus gathered over the years. Dang – some of them I don’t even remember what they fit any more.
A box, eh? All I have is an old grocery bag. Suppose I should step up in the world.
