Wow. Revenge is a dish best served *very* cold!

or, Who Says California Politics Can’t Be Fun?

A Republican legislator and Vietnamese refugee was dragged from the state Senate floor Thursday morning when a Democratic leader ordered her removed after she tried to criticize the late Tom Hayden, a former state senator and vocal opponent of the war in Vietnam.

State Sen. Janet Nguyen, R-Garden Grove (Orange County), who was born in what was then Saigon, spoke briefly in Vietnamese, but her microphone was shut off less than 30 seconds after she began to repeat her remarks in English.

  1. Is that old bastard still alive? Where’s my ax handle!

  2. Oh, good. I reread your article, as I was sure he was dead, and he is!

Yes. It is always good to take a moment and ensure that that blankety-blank Mao-wannabe is still dead.

Not, alas, that there aren’t lots more where he came from.

Yeah, had me worried there for a minute. I was visualizing a Hayden-zombie stalking the political scene. Brrrr, cold shivers, indeed.

And while I don;t want to wish anybody bad luck, if Henry’s daughter walked in front of a bus . . .

Nothing like seeing the right of free speech being exercised in the land of the not so free. I guess free speech is only for those who side with the majority.

The U.S. Congress has rules against impugning the motives of other Congresscritters (hence Fauxahontas’ recent smackdown), but I don’t know if California has similar rules, nor whether they apply to the deceased. Regardless, I’m sure this’ll be touted as “turnabout is fair play” if it comes to national attention.

Kentucky – By God, if I could “like” that I sure would…. The part about Henry’s daughter I mean.
