Those of you who have commented at the new site have probably noticed that you had to await moderation. Sorry about that: There’s probably a way to adjust it, but I’ll be damned if I know what it is.
As far as I can tell, the new site imported all the old comments just fine but doesn’t recognize any regular commenters. Once you’ve been accepted once, your comments will go through thereafter without moderation. At least that’s my understanding. Time will tell.
At present I have no spam filter, since my Akismet key is locked securely away with my new emails. Someday I’ll figure out how to access those, and then – THEN – I’ll be happy. Or something.
I’ve been doing nothing but tweak this site for the past seven hours, and I’m tired of it now. Off to do something else for a while.
