That I didn’t know where I was going to end up when I left Socal, but wherever it was I’d never stop bitching about the weather.
The weather, see, being the only thing I liked about…never mind.
Anyway. A typical monsoon day involves sun in the morning, cloud up around noon or a little after, rain in the afternoon and evening. The last few days haven’t been typical. It’s been pretty much constantly cloudy. This morning it started raining at 7 AM.
Then around noon there was some sign of clearing. Then a big thunderhead rolled in – and rolled right back out again. Right this minute the Secret Lair is in a big patch of blue sky, with scary clouds in every direction. I wouldn’t even try to guess what the weather’s gonna do next. But I assume it’ll be the worst thing it can do, so I’m turning the ‘pooter right back off because the batteries need all this “sunshine” stuff they can get.
Sick of monsoon now. I want my horrid bright dry desert back.
