Via Alert Reader Kentucky, I got this link…
ABC News Busted for Using Knob Creek Footage in Report on Turkey’s Military Attacking Kurd Civilians
…which includes some fairly horrific footage of the Turkish invasion of Syria (CliffsNotes version: Trump did it) but as ABC apparently didn’t think it horrific enough, they added some additional footage from…Kentucky.
The good news: no men, women, children or pets were injured or killed in that ABC News fake news clip. Because, of course, the Knob Creek Range has great people running it safely for everyone involved. Hundreds of thousands of rounds (if not millions) are fired each year and nobody gets hurt. Unless they trip and fall walking around behind the firing line, or get a blister from stuffing magazines.

Actually a teenaged girl was killed some years back when a minigun fell from its platform and hit her in the head(ie blunt trauma, not a shooting injury). I believe it was the triple minigun and she was the daughter or niece of the owner. Tragic.
I also saw 2 separate incidents in consecutive years of shrapnel into the crowd circa 2000. In the first, some Ahat had pushed past the crowd to be first at the fence and got what amounted to a shaving cut in the jaw. I saw this one as ‘Had It Coming’.
The 2nd, I was on the roof behind several fat people (who says I don’t learn from experience) and a guy who was holding his camcorder (remember those?) over his head suddenly had it jerked violently rearward. He looked around to see was trying to steal his camera and then saw a bullet track had sheared the upper inch or so of his camera.
That was my last night shoot that I ever attended.
Still safer than a police training exercise:
