Yesterday’s promised snowstorm delayed and delayed, and then never really amounted to much. It put down some wet snow in the late afternoon which later froze, and then maybe half a inch of powder on top of that. So…

…take your time and let the taught-to-drive-in-Michigan instincts flow through you.
I had this really busy, cluttered morning planned, and nearly all of it got cancelled on account of weather. But I still had to cross the plateau one last time to feed T&S’s horse, and I still had to do chicken chores. Walking to Landlady’s might have worked out just fine, and it might have ended halfway in either direction with a broken kneecap so I gave up walkie plans and just drove – very carefully. And now I guess I’ll go back to my tea and book, because I’m sure not going anywhere else.

Did Laddie get to participate in the road trip?
So much for the fantasies of living in a hot, dry desert. BTW, if you were lucky enough to have Amazon Prime, season 4 of The Expanse is available…
Mike, I live in the hot, dry part of Arizona and it Ain’t been dry nor all that hot. We had a freeze warning last night…grumble, grumble…way too early for that…grumble, grumble.
Here in central CO we have snow coming down and the high for the day is 18*. Glad you’re back from chores safely and snuggled back in.
I’m with Matismf: did TB get a goferride? I feel like I drive better (a little safer) if I bring along my Pittie girl Delilah, like she’s a good luck buddy. Or she’s precious cargo to me, so I take extra second looks for other idjits.
By the way, I’ll bet you did take at least one more “trip” if Laddie needed to water that juniper before bedtime…
I didn’t take him to T&S’s place because I didn’t know if I’d end up walking home. But he came with twice for chicken chores.
