Yeah, just a pancreatitis flare-up, and probably my fault: In hindsight tossing him the skins off those chicken thighs I brought home on Friday was not as cool as he thought it was at the moment.
Yesterday he was sleepy most of the day, though he perked right up at the mention of a Jeep ride and he was getting up to drink and going out to pee pretty normally throughout. Had a good night, a very light breakfast of canned food (I’ll see if I can score more chicken breast today but not hopeful) and a much more pooplike morning poop.
Three people hit the tip jar and not in trivial ways, and though I appreciate that beyond words I also feel a little bad about it because he would have had to be much sicker than he ever got before I was going to take him to a vet, and I hope you don’t think I was soliciting funds on false premises. Actually I hope you know I wasn’t soliciting funds at all.
In about an hour I have to go to the big town about 50 miles away for my prosthetist appointment, so pray for us sinners. More later.

I understood that was NOT a solicitation, but wanted you to have it avaialble in case it was needed. For Laddie, or for the prosthesis.
I pray for all sinners everyday. Always have.
Like matismf, I didn’t hear a bleg. I think folks just normally like to hit the tip jar from time to time. Uses for a little extra $ abound – treats, doggie treats, doc appointments, gas for gigs, more doggie treats, coffee, evening libations, toilet valve kits, and on and on. 😉
Purely internal motivation. Not aware of expiration date, so the day for use, and whatever purpose for use, will come. Peace. And be well.
Might be the camera angle but TB seems to have slimmed a bit which is good.
Check with your mail drop, sent some maybe useful odds and ends for you to play with.
Cool! I should be hearing from my maildrop on Thursday, unless something else goes wrong.
Your photo reminded me of the planning you made for your religion’s floor. How’s it holding up? Is there anything you’d do differently on the floor if you had to do it over? I’m Lisa thinking of doing something similar, this summer, and inquiring minds want to know.
Wow, autotext really ruined that last comment. “Planning” meant “planking”. “Religion” was “addition” (although given the work you put in, it’s sorta like a religion i suppose). “Lisa” was supposed to be “kinda”. Sorry for screwing up your tidy comments…
🙂 That was entertaining.
The planking has held up substantially better than the tiling in the main cabin has. Could use some urethane touch-up by the reading chair, but other than that it has proven an excellent and relatively inexpensive solution.
Perhaps a little throw rug in front of your reading chair?
Yeah. I can probably score one at the local dollar store but keep forgetting. Need to put it on the list while I’m thinking about it.
