Right, this is going to take some getting used to.

H went off to the city this morning with my two favorite of the horses. Comet’s just off for some sort of training, but Alexandra the foal won’t be coming home.

She got swapped for something I’ve never bothered to learn about, possibly for the same reason I’m not a big fan of Chihuahuas.

A miniature horse. Of what earthly use is a miniature horse, I hear someone ask? Very good question. All I know right now is that a cart is involved. I’ll be following this with great interest.

  1. Bear says:

Maybe miniature horses are like veal calves: good, tender eatin’.

If wishes was horses, we’d all be eatin’ steak. – JC

  2. Woody says:

Well, they probably have reduced exhaust emissions.

  3. I’ve a friend who has a couple miniature horses. She swears that she wants to train them for service work – says there’s already a precedent for this. She also says they’re used in hospitals to cheer up the patients. My first question was how to manage their excretory functions? She says they’re trainable in that respect. I’ll believe it when I see it.
