Thanks to all.

Landlady and Ian have gone their ways, and just in time: A very unexpected storm blew in and made life interesting. But they left me with a pile of encouraging – and quite profitable – cards and letters and a care package or two.

No names, no pack drill. Some told me their names but didn’t want them spread about, some didn’t tell me. But whether you sent me a gift, or hit the Donate button to Paypal – and quite a few did – or just sent well-wishes, I want you all to know both that I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart, and that I now certainly have enough banked for whatever an ophthalmologist is likely to initially cost and at least the first round of treatments/drugs/whatever as long as it doesn’t get too exotic. Plus a pair of glasses to boot.

Thank you all very much. Those of you who keep Christmas, I wish you a very happy one and for the rest, I just wish that you be very happy.

Have a happy day, Joel. Hugs to the “kids” for sure. 🙂 Well, probably except the chickens. Hugging chickens is not necessary. LOL

I dunno, ML. It ain’t my thing by a long shot, but have you ever heard the difference between “kinky” and “perverted”? [grin]

    Season’s Greetings to All.*

(* Yeah, I know some people dislike that generic wish, but darn it, I’ve got friends and family that celebrate anything from Christmas to Hannukah to Yule to Kwanza to just being off work to… and I don’t always know which.)
