This is not “partly cloudy.”

Which is what you promised me. And your promise is why I scheduled this morning for bread day. You are fired.
Happily…

(And I’m not done being delighted by this) I can do this now.
So even though I have to run my powerhungry oven while my solar panels are taking a break, I still have juice to spare.
And so…
An Unnamed Benefactor gave me that generator in summer 2017, the year I built the bedroom addition, but it only gradually revolutionized how I use electrical power. For the first several years it was only good for running power tools. Which was really great, don’t get me wrong, but I still had no easy way to use it on the overall power system. Two years ago, out of the blue, Big Brother sent me the last piece of that puzzle.
Creeping closer to the first world, baby. Which is good timing because when your body finds it harder to do hard things, it’s nice when the things you have to do get easier.

That’s the objective as we get older, work smarter, not harder.
I can taste that bread, man o man I love home made bread.
Hmm! Any plans to add another outlet or two, some switches and maybe a permanent outdoor power feed into the gulch? I think I have enough “leftover” parts and pieces to send you a kit.
For simplicity, all 110 V and not 220 in (like my emergency generator which is now capable of running all critical circuits in my house). Of course, since I put all this in and upgraded to a tri-fuel generator, have NOT had to use it. Sometimes Murphy does reverse curses and just having the equipment ensures it is not used. Heh!
All I would need is for you to sketch where you plan to put outlets/switches/fixtures and a rough measure of distances from the location of the generator on into where you would run the wire under the porch and into the house. Might even have enough armored cable to keep the packrats from eating wiring underside the building.
Nah, Terrapod, my only sorta-plan is to pull some wire to the porch for a permanent place to plug in the generator there, and I already have big underground conduit for that with pull cords – if the mice haven’t eaten them, which is a strong possibility.
