Wilson Combat Announces
Anti-Gun States, No-Sale PolicyEffective: February 28, 2013
Wilson Combat will no longer provide any products or services to any State Government imposing legislation that infringes on the second amendment rights of its law abiding citizens. This includes any Law Enforcement Department, Law Enforcement Officers, or any State Government Entity or Employee of such an entity. This also applies to any local municipality imposing such infringements.
States currently included in our No-Sale Policy are:
California
Hawaii
Maryland
Massachusetts
New Jersey
New York
Washington D.C.
The City of Chicago, IllinoisWilson Combat will in NO way support the government of these states or their anti-gun agenda that only limits the rights of law-abiding citizens. Wilson Combat will continue to supply any product and/or service they can legally sell in these states to all non-government affiliated citizens.

Nice. And the verbiage of a lot of these statements has been pretty unambiguous, too. Lord knows we need more plain, direct speech.
Unlike a lot of the other “voluntarily providing the equal protection that governments won’t” outfits thus far (to take nothing away from their efforts), I actually am somewhat invested in Wilson. Best 1911 mags on the planet, by my experience, and a whole lot of others seem to agree.
The cynic in me, of course, says that we’ll know this trend is really gaining traction when the usual Establishment pols start to show up and plant their own stinkin’ flags in it. I sure wish they’d get turned away too, but I’ve got no illusions about how that usually works out. 🙂
Okay, come on, majors, man up. (Personally, I’m pulling for Springfield Armory to be the first.)
