Landlady and Ian stopped by today, and came bearing gifts. Landlady brought greens for the chickens, a can of Trader Joe’s House Blend,the best coffee in the whole world (and not the cheapest – if she ever sits down and totals what she’s spent on that stuff over the years, I’m in trouble.)
Via friend’o’the’blog Wolfsong, she brought a new Official Blog Camera!
Thank you very much! And this one has no mechanical zoom, which is how at least two of the last three Official Blog Cameras have died. We’ve got a very dusty environment, and no matter how I try it always gets into the lens works in the end.

If you could read what it says through my very lousy photograph, it would say Ad Ultimum Reges, which may be the correct Latin for Ultimate Answer to Kings. We’re just gonna go with that, in any case. That’s going on the Lair, though I may paint in the letters first.

Glad the camera made it to you in one piece-I have no faith in any postal system to deliver things without breaking them…I figured after my upgrade, I had a few choices to get rid of that one. 1.Toss it in the garbage-seemed like a waste. 2. Give it to the local group who hands out cameras to hookers to take snaps of johns(or what they call “bad dates”), or 3. Send it off to you. Figured you’d get the best use out of it. 🙂
