That faint jingling sound…

…is coming from my pocket for once. Geiger Counter Guy wanted 300 arsenic caps, which took me something like 14 hours to produce. It went really well for once, but I gotta tell you the weather’s been so nice lately it was like being a schoolboy staring out the window at the world you’re not allowed to go play in. Sitting beside the open garage door of Geiger Counter Central while cutting and pounding and carving and drilling and screwing and drilling some more, over and over and over…it’s the most boring job ever devised by the mind of man, but it pays well and was very well-timed. Now I can go to my next ophthalmologist appointment with my head held high.

Last week I was fretting about money, but now I’m (temporarily) in pretty good shape.
