In addition to her actual complaints about how ‘we won’t even let a state decide its own gun laws,’ we’re also racist. Or something. Because she says so, I presume, since she offers no evidence of it.
As to the complaint about letting states ‘decide their own gun laws,’ stacking all the blame on the NRA helps her ignore the fact that the state-level successes the gun rights movement has enjoyed are driven by state-level activists and rarely involve the NRA. So these developments are in fact the (people of the) states deciding their own gun laws, or precisely what she says isn’t happening.

I have found that a clear sign the other guy is losing the debate and even they know it is being posted when it becomes racist to oppose them.
That is unless Reid is acknowledging what I have thought for years; that the civil war really was not about Southerners keeping slaves and more about states rights and economic/imperialistic federal tyranny.
I kinda doubt that’s how she means it.
