When we set up the big chicken house last summer, Landlady bought some little plastic and brass nipples that go in the bottom of a bucket for watering. Work great!
Except the chicken house gets colder than I’d hoped, with thick layers of ice on the watering bucket – and it turns out those nipples can also freeze up and stop working. Fortunately she made more than one bucket, a fact I only just learned. I’ll leave this one out in the sun to thaw and dry, and I expect it’ll be fine.
