If all proceeds as I have foreseen, they’ll be here next weekend along with some Cornish game hens who are not destined for a long life.
Also, (and this is one of those ironies of chicken-raising I suppose I’d better just relax to) after waiting almost a year for them to mature and start laying eggs it has been decided that the Brahma flock is now too big. Which means for a start that two not-very-randomly-selected members of it will be separated out for a special honor…
