What’s the definition of crazy again?
Which Side Are You On?
If you don’t care whether Republicans win, care that Democrats lose.
…though I reject the notion that Mitt Romney wasn’t good enough for true-believing conservatives, let’s say, arguendo, that that was the case. Unless you are ready to give up entirely on the notion of advancing conservative principles through the ballot box, you might consider looking at things this way: Even if you do not think that it matters much whether Republicans win, it matters a great deal that Democrats lose.
I’m not even a conservative, and this bald retread of an argument annoys me. Who gave you back the house in 2010, Kevin? (Hint, since you’re clearly a bit slow on the uptake: Starts with a C.) And the moment they were back in the fun chairs in the House, who did the GOP leadership turn on like they’d been caught selling A-bombs to the russkis? (Same answer.) Your boys ran “More of the Same” for prez two years later, and it’s the Conservatives’ fault he lost?
“It matters a great deal that Democrats lose.” Really? In what way? Your boys run somebody who looks just like them, and the Life That Is Good For Politicians goes on. Nothing changes but the names in the news.
It’s been my observation that Conservatives are not ‘ready to give up entirely on the notion of advancing conservative principles through the ballot box,’ and that’s one of my principal differences with them. But your beloved GOP had better wake up and see that that is the reason Conservatives are (finally!) backing away from the republicans. They want to win politically – and they want it to matter a great deal when they do.
I’m not saying they’re right about any of those things. But their argument makes more sense than yours does, Kevin.

No matter who “wins” an election: Welcome to new boss, same as old boss.
Whoever “wins” wants the same power to control, steal, murder and enjoy all the other perks of entitlement and even royalty. The minor differences in amount and kind are irrelevant.
So many folks whine “follow the money,” but it’s the power that is most addictive. The multi billionaires in government have all the money they could use in a lifetime… but that doesn’t slow them down a bit.
There might be some who mean to rule well, but they MEAN to rule, period.
I basically agree with you with the following exception: I think Romney was a good guy, honest, smart, very pro-America, etc. The problem is like many Republicans he was too “moderate” and wouldn’t have reversed Obamacare or done much of anything to slow or reverse this massive move to the left that we are in. What we would have had with Romney and any Republican popular enough to win is more of the same thing but “maybe” a little slower then the Democrat. I for one am sick of having “conservative” candidates stabbing me in the back. I absolutely will vote for the radical commie bitch (Hillary) over Jeb Bush (who I like and think is a great guy but way to “moderate). I absolutely will not vote for Christie who I really liked at first. My no compromise position is on the 2nd amendment and amnesty. Either they are pro 2nd amendment and opposed to amnesty or I will vote for Hillary. You might ask why not at least accept a “moderate” over the crazy commie bitch? Because when the country goes to hell and the SHTF I want the great unwashed and ignorant to not be confused about who did it and what policies caused it. We need conservatives regardless of their party and as long as we continue to support statist simply because they have an “R” in front of their name we will continue to lose our rights and our country. It may well be too late already. So, run Hillary, run because if Jeb Bush or Christie runs I want someone radical to vote for.
I know exactly who’s going to win the next election. The government will win. We, the people, will lose.
Yep, vot for the person that will steal the least, oppress you the least, and drive the bus over the cliff slowly and carfully. Anybody willing to run for president does not have your best interests in mind. They would round us all up if they didn’t need us.
