Are you serious? Are you serious?

I keep looking for the parody tell, because I hate it when I get taken. But as far as I can see this is completely serious.

Thanks to Obamacare, Colorado has a new online insurance marketplace called “Connect for Health Colorado.” This new marketplace is where you can easily compare health insurance plans, find financial assistance that could help you purchase coverage, and get the plan that’s right for you.

The site doyougotinsurance.com appears to be part of an ad campaign for the Colorado Obamacare exchange. It makes me despair for America.1863
Could this actually be real?

We keep hearing that Obamacare needs to get young, healthy people to sign up because that’s the only way the New Order can ever hope to pay for all us sickly geezers. So an ad campaign that promises to help you get drunk and laid? Was Idiocracy really a documentary?

If this is parody, it’s too subtle for me.

If this isn’t parody, I think I want to kill myself.

  1. Can’t be real. Real humans know women don’t have to “try” to get guys to have sex. They just hafta offer it.

I’ll wait for one of your CO readers to verify/deny since I have no clue if that’s real or not either. I will say though, having a background in PR, that it reminds me of a really bad ad campaign/idea that someone with zero experience would come up with. (In order to look smart and savvy and “now” when they aren’t. heh.) Or, it could have been concocted by a 60 something year old with a bad attitude towards younger people, the really badly done on purpose plus mocking ad. LOL.

It’s on the internet, so we have to believe it, right? *snickering*

I cringe, because it’s so bad it did get noticed and talked about – making it somewhat of a success, right there.

I wonder if they have an ad showing people doing cannonballs and skateboarding without kneepads?

Found 2 links about it, and I can’t see the link here right now (exceeded it’s whatever) sorry if either of these are repeats.

    Apparently they are serious http://www.denverpost.com/politics/ci_24509632/pro-obamacare-ads-targeting-millennials-stir-controversy-colorado

And apparently not connected to the state http://www.denverpost.com/politics/ci_24514667/colorado-obamacare-ads-not-paid-state-funds-backers

And it seems to have failed it’s purpose of enrollment, as well…no surprise there http://coloradopeakpolitics.com/2013/11/13/stay-klassy-obamacare-got-insurance-ads-under-fire/
