    A 3D printed particle beam weapon might get around the issue of ammunition too. A gun with no bullets is fairly useless, unless it doesn’t *need* bullets.

    Now I have an image of Doc Brown saying “Where we’re going, we don’t *need* bullets…”

    I, personally, am holding out for the Plasma Cannon that Schlock carries.
    A Stoebl Hand-held Plasma Cannon … if memory serves.
    It only needs to have its internal batteries charged regularly and Bingo it’s party time.
