Eeerily, just minutes before the mayhem, Mayor Bloomberg was warning about the dangers of “too many guns on the streets” on his weekly radio show.
“The argument guns don’t kill people, people kill people is one of the most disingenuous things you can say,” he said shortly before 9 a.m. while discussing tougher guns laws being proposed in Albany.
“It does take a person to pull the trigger, but if they didn’t have the gun… We are the only developed country in the world with this problem.”
How’s that “no guns” thing working out for you, New Yawkers?
And piling unpossible on unpossible, New York’s Finest do what they can to add to the body count…
The cops unleashed a torrent of shots, cutting down the suspect and possibly hitting some of the nine innocent bystanders who were caught in the mayhem.
Good thing none of the victims had guns. Someone could have been hurt.
Latest reports indicate that the bad guy put 5 rounds into his intended target. Everyone else was shot by the NYPD.

I’m sure there will be a big shakeup in the department and all of the wounded will be amply compensated by the city, Those officers responsible will certainly have their service pistols confiscated until they are sufficiently proficient, so they hit only bad guys when they shoot, along with a substantial reduction in rank.
Somebody better not tell Dumberg about the silly little man in China who managed to knife someone to death a few weeks ago because his girlfriend told him “no”. 8 someones, in fact. He managed to slash five more as a bonus.
Oh…or the 20 kids killed and 50 damaged with knives in the last year or two in the peeps republic of total gun control.
