I spent so much time decorating the Lair for Halloween yesterday that I never even posted, and then not a single lost child wandered by. The boys must continue to struggle by with dry dogfood. I’m starting to question the efficacy of this tactic, even though some guy on the internet suggested it which means it must be effective.
Now I’ve got to take all that shit back down so it’ll probably happen again today. Here’s a randomly-snatched picture of a cat, because blogging is hard.

Oh. For a moment there, I thought the lair had gained a cat…and cleavage.
Not much decorating interest, at least not since the boys left home in the early 80s. But I do have a bunch of .22lr cartridges tied with Christmas string to ornament hangers. I like to hang them on one of my Norfolk Island pine houseplants for Christmas. That’s my tree… and that’s it. LOL Ok, so I’m strange.
If any little people are coming to visit, however, I still make cookies. The gingerbread ones are my favorite. 🙂
OH!!! You can tell I’m an old lady… LOL I didn’t even notice the cleavage until I read Ben’s comment.
No kids have come by our place for 20 years. Don’t even buy candy anymore. Cleavage? Oh, yeah, now that you mention it, lol
Only grandkids, a homeless drifter and little gray cat came by my place. They all stayed.
What cat?
gfa
I get a couple hundred trick or treaters. The nieghbors will bring the toddlers by while it is still light. Then just after dark the nighbor preteens and teens come by. Then we get about 100 or so spanish speaking kids and their parents. I live 1400 miles from Mexico but Spanish speaking people show up at my door on Halloween, go figure.
“randomly snatched picture” ????? Guffaw.
I’ve been resisting …..REALLY….I TRIED……..Oh,damn!!!!
Ah, ain’t that a cute picture ….2 puppies and a pus**…er kitty![;>)
Don’t even try to tell me none of you other guys didn’t think that.
