Hyperbole, courtesy of Josh Sugarmann. Now with more racism!

Here it is the 19th, and I didn’t even know it was Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Possibly because whenever there’s domestic violence here at the Secret Lair I’m pretty much always already aware of it. Doesn’t even matter what month it is. In fact I may be the perpetrator.

But I digress.

Black women in America are almost always killed by someone they know, most often with a gun, and usually as the result of an argument…

I haven’t done any scientific studies like Josh, but I’m pretty sure black women in America almost always die in bed of natural causes just like the rest of us. I could be wrong: I always get a little nervous when I disagree with Josh. Not really.

Like the vast majority of all homicides — black or white, male or female — 93 percent (463 out of 499) of the homicides of black females were intra-racial (meaning that both the victim and offender were of the same race).

He keeps repeating that the stats are the same for blacks and whites, yet goes on and on about blacks. In his incisive report we only seem to learn three things for sure: Josh Sugarmann is afraid of “males” in general, “black males” in particular, and of course guns.

So in this year’s annual “When Men Murder Women” report, we learn nothing new. That is all, just thought I’d mention it.

  1. MamaLiberty says:

Naturally, simply arming and training women – especially black women – to defend themselves never occurs to these cretins. Unfortunately, most black women would not be in the least interested either, I suspect. Sadly, that remains true even after they are attacked in most cases. Centuries of indoctrination and mind games are hard to overcome.

It’s all about finding “fault” and not at all about accepting responsibility.
