I’ve needed to bring a few wheelbarrows worth of firewood to Landlady’s house ever since the last time she was here, and the weather’s been so borderline crappy I kept putting it off. Can’t remember if she’s coming back this weekend or next, so I was out of procrastination time.

It turned into more of a project than expected. Loaded up some juniper at the cabin, then went to her place and cleaned up a bunch of old lumber that had piled up in front of the barn. Some of it needs to be cut to length, but she’s got the chopsaw at her house, so at least it’s closer.
Backed the Jeep up, and after one wheelbarrow I figured I hadn’t calculated breakfast quite right because I was gonna run out of blood sugar long before I ran out of work. So I left the whole mess right there and the boys got a walkie out of the deal.

Walked back after lunch, and LB was all, “No, I don’t want you to tie me out here. I want my Jeep ride!” LB thinks the best thing in the world is when he gets a walkie and a Jeep ride in the same outing.
So the boys sat inside while I unloaded the rest of the wood. That little hill gets a bit steeper for every birthday I acknowledge, at least pushing a wheelbarrow.
And the job finished up just as the weather changed back to cold wind, so I scraped by in more ways than one.

Looks like LB is all hooked up and ready to tow the Jeep home. Mush!
Noticed the LP tank. Is commercial LP delivery readily available out there in the gulch? If so, at reasonable rates and relatively dependable service?
It’s available if you have access to roads where the propane truck can go. I can’t use it, of course, I have to Jeep portable bottles in and out. Prices are competitive, and the service has improved since a second company started providing competition.
