It’s like my own private Stonehenge. Ten after six, and the sun is just starting to kiss the cliff. A month ago it happened at about quarter to six. In late December this will happen at quarter to eight, unless Global Warming causes a shift in the Earth’s axis. From now till then I’ll note this phenomenon with mild dismay.
Took a little break from the interwebs yesterday. Didn’t have anything to say and decided not to bother saying it.

But all’s well. Just took a day to patch the holes in my BDUs, that’s all.

It could be worse…

Here in the Copper Basin Alaska we had 33 two mornings this week. Also I needed a light to read at 9:30 PM when only a month ago I could read until midnight with out one. By December it will get light about 10:00 AM. We take advantage of the long days in May, June, and July.
Yeah, no offense if you like it, but this is why Alaska wasn’t even on my long list of places to move. Ever.
