Listen to the voice that warns, “tyranny is always lurking just around the corner.”

Creating the Stasi American

Bradshaw is less interesting than the dynamics of the hot line itself. Utterly ruthless and depraved civil servants are a dime a dozen. The more compelling question is how their policies affect average citizens who are suddenly able to wield the power of government against their neighbors. Bradshaw has assured the public that the police “know how to sift through frivolous complaints.” But the respected law enforcement expert Jim Donahue has argued that the Sheriff’s office “is led by the kind of people my dad fought in WWII to defeat. They are threatening the very fabric of our republic.”

It has happened repeatedly before, and it will happen repeatedly again. Anybody who says it can’t happen here is lying to himself, or trying to lie to you. It’s happening here right now.

Yeah I live in PB county and this is a hot topic here everywhere but on the news. PBC is pretty divided 50/50 on this. This guy is as bad as he appears. It will be interesting to see how this pans out now that he has the authority. Don’t think he will push it yet, but in the future, well we shall see.

Honesty there won’t be any push back till he does something stupid, then who knows. Lot of free thinking out in the western part of the county.

Definitely a sad day for freedom though. Now where did I put that tube of Alox?

Ah, criminy! Why, oh why, am I so tempted now to go out on the patio and clean some guns. Just perverse, I guess.

Wow, I love Wendy’s work, she can take a thought which I can barely grasp, never mind articulate and she can play tunes with it.

she’s really got into seeing the statists finding forums for us plebs to fight a Hobbesian war amongst ourselves.

Place I live, we can’t move without some creep snitching – and the cops host a monthly [anti]community “snitch ‘n’ bitch” meeting in the local hall.

I’ll be printing off a copy of the piece and passing it around some of the more libertarian minded neighbours.

Now, where did I put the Hoppes No9…
