Oh, this is gonna get a lot of use this summer. In fact there’s an interior job I got the parts for yesterday that just went to the front of the queue for tomorrow so I can play with my new driver.

Thanks, mystery benefactor!

I keep saying this, but you have the coolest friends! We have one of those B&D cordless drill/screwdrivers and it amazes me how long the battery holds it’s charge. I’ve been using ours a lot in the effort to get our house up to standard to sell, and haven’t had to recharge the battery yet. You’ll love it.

Outstanding! Should make things a lot easier, and go a lot faster.

Excellent trigger finger discipline there, my friend. 🙂 I find myself doing the same with such things as spray bottles, anything with a grip and trigger.

ML: Yup, that trigger finger caught my eye immediately, too. I’m not yet so far gone that I looked to see what caliber B&D, though.

Joel: How’re your groups? Cheap reloads, I bet.

Me and my drinking buddies put up a 20×20 metal building with two Dewalt impact drivers. Best $200 I ever spent. Regular corded drills would wear you out driving one fastener much less the two buckets full we used. The lithium batteries worked great, lasted a long time and charged fully in less than 20 min. Up until these I always said a cordless drill was a device that forced me to walk back and get a drop cord anyway because invariably the battery died before finishing any job.
