Even if I had a TV, I’m pretty sure I’d give these debates a miss.
Clinton to Sanders: Gun control is ‘not a laughing matter’
It started with the question of whether Clinton had “seriously” blamed Vermont, and by extension Sanders, for New York’s gun violence, because earlier in the week, she did point out that most of the guns used in crime in New York came from other states, specifically his.
“Of course not,” she said, but when Sanders chuckled, she became more than serious. “It’s not a laughing matter. Ninety people a day are killed or commit suicide or die in accidents from guns, 33,000 people a year. I take it really seriously, because I have spent more time than I care to remember being with people who have lost their loved ones.”
So first she lied about Vermont, then she lied about lying, then she set up Sanders for a weak “no laughing matter” riposte before repeating more hoary Brady Bunch agitprop. They should just sit there and be rotten and stench-filled at each other.
Suit’em up and give’em pugil sticks. It’d be far more entertaining, and far more real. Maybe – dare to dream – there’d be casualties.

Seems to me I remember those evil crime guns coming in via Virginia? Perhaps it depends on who’s making the claim?
Or how many votes are from the offending State?

As I recall, Guffaw, Evil Crime Gunrunners in Virginia prefer to prey upon the innocent gangbangers of DC, rather than those of NYC. It could be they fear the wrath of the Vermont gangs.
