Okay, yeah, this is probably good advice…

Anyway it’s the specific clowns you need to worry about.

Hmmm… have not seen any clowns, random or otherwise around here. Would certainly grab my attention if I did. But shooting them would not be my first thought…

I am wondering if evil people, somewhere… are actually eager to have a yahoo do this, however… so they can claim that they were right all alone that gun owners are crazy and just looking for something/someone to kill. Could happen.

It’s kinda funny, with the exception of 1 or 2 all the sightings are in the eastern part of the US where there is no open carry. I wonder if these clowns (pun intended) feel safer that way?

You know, two or three years ago, some idiot was posting YouTube videos of himself doing the scary clown routine, jumping out at people, and waving a toy axe. The last one I saw was him “attacking” a couple walking down the street. The guy pushed his girl back, yelled at her to run for it, and drew a handgun.

Clown boy immediately screamed not to be shot, that it was just a joke, and please dear Bog don’t kill me.

Sadly, the “victim” didn’t kill him.

I checked state and local ordinances for the guy’s alleged location, and explained to him that legally — even aside from common sense — the “victim” probably would have been justified in shooting an idiot who attempted to present himself as a credible deadly threat. He replied by claiming he’d done nothing illegal. I responded by presenting him with a list of the felonies and misdemeanors he’d committed on tape.

Like I said, that seemed to be the last of his clown videos.

I’m sure that will make him happy as he’s assuming room temperature. Idiot.

And in sorta-related news: A school district in New Haven, CT has banned Halloween clown costumes because, well, because.

    Hey Bear & Robert,

Just goes to show that you really can’t fix stupid. In the end, if these fools ended up being killed I’m sure the sum total IQ of the human race would raise a fraction.
