We gotta get out while we’re young
‘Cause tramps like us, baby we were born respectively as a cis gender male assigned male at birth and a cis female assigned female at birth although obviously that entire binary concept supports outmoded privilege structures that do not recognize the legitimacy of sexuality’s fluid reality which should allow people to wander into any toilet they please based on how they identify at that precise moment in time.
If I’d ever been a Springsteen fan…
Oh, well. As somebody said, if you boycotted every artist who ever said (or did) anything offensively stupid, you’d live in a world without entertainment.

Live without entertainment? Never. I’ve lived without TV, pop singers and political theater quite nicely, but have never been without entertainment. I have had many animals, pet and other, who are so comical and engaging that many days have been filled with laughter and amazement. I am entertained greatly watching clouds, rain/snow and thunderstorms… hail, not so much. I’m entertained watching the bees, bumblebees and so many other interesting beneficial insects and critters in the yard and garden. Much as I curse them sometimes, I find watching the deer and bunnies entertaining too. The world is full of entertainment if you’re looking for it.
Never listened to Springsteen, and very few of the rest of the “artists” in the world. Never missed them… 🙂
I think that if a state legislature has nothing better to do than make rules for bathrooms, then it would be far better for it to close shop and go home. Those details are for locals to decide, not Big Brother.
Myself, I have walked into a men’s room more than once to find a female in there. After assuring that I was in the correct bathroom, I simply did the adult thing and used a stall rather than a urinal. It’s what adults do. We don’t need legislative guidance for these matters.
I remember the day when we thought that every public place must have three bathrooms, Male, Female and Colored. Now it’s two, but perhaps the day will come when it’s one. After all, we’re adults…right?
I was at a rock concert last week. Many many baby boomers. The line at intermission to get to the Mens room resembled the line at a TSA checkpoint….way long. Over at the other side of the room, the ladies room was devoid of any such queue. There were a couple of women laughing at us guys. I told them….’well, transgender legislation will change all that…..don’t get used to it.’
