Santa, I want an…

…integrally suppressed .22 bolt action carbine with an LPVO.

Funny, before my evening shower (lord, it’s hot) I was very content with my guns. Couldn’t really think of anything I wanted. But while up at Ian’s a guy on the internet said – so you know it’s true – that some troll stuck those two DOA anti-NFA bills into the Big Bad Bod Bill, which is allegedly likely to pass.

And suddenly I wanted a new gun. Because if I had one of those I know a whole bunch of yard rabbits that would be dead in DAYS*.

* Yeah I know I could shoot them now, but it would be a lot more fun with that new toy.

I have a 22 that I really want to put a can on. More for feline control over rodents, but we all have our cross to bear.

Paul, if you have a rifle you can use Calibri powderless ammo. It’s quieter than a pellet rifle. I could hear the hammer fall on my Henry 22.

Is your air rifle no longer functional?

  4. I highly recommend the Savage MkII FVSR ($225~ dealer cost) with a Boyds Tacicool stock and the Sparrow suppressor with Rem SubSonic HP. I’ve used this combo to eliminate a local pigeon problem. The Savage can be good out of the box, but if you spend a few bucks here and there on it you get an awesome machine.

have both the Savage mark 11 and a Ruger 10/22 with a fast twist barrel by Shaw
1 on 9 twist. with 60 grain sub sonics it is air gun quiet add a Witt SWE to it and it ever better without the paperwork problem

What you folks are oblivious to is that there is a paper trail for your purchases, and tyrants don’t like their surfs to be armed. So enjoy the new toys while you can because soon enough some excuse will pop up for ATF to start kicking in doors looking for guns, ICE style.

Oh, and for those who think they are off the grid, think again…

    @anon –

You’ll notice that ICE boys are going after restaurant workers, yard men and college kids. They’re not getting suited and booted for the hardened drug dealers and other “bad hombres.”

Likewise, I suspect that the ATF boys aren’t just chomping at the bit to go after the guy with a purchase history of multiple SBR’s, silencers, NOD’s, case lots of ammo, tannerite and roofing nails and an iTunes account full of Metallica and Megadeth.

If it comes to it, they’ll take grandpas single shot H&R and MeeMaw’s Phoenix .22 and call it a day, after shooting the dachshund, of course.

Oh, DWW, you think they will storm your home? 🤣

Why would government agents kick in doors and risk lives?

With the information gathered under Palantir they could easily, under executive order, force you to comply. Your banking information gives them the ability to freeze bank accounts or restrict businesses from dealing with you. With your tax records, they can force employers to not employ you. I know, your employer would never agree, but with the information from Palantir they can make things hard for your employer to operate. Ask yourself this, would the company you work for be that loyal to you?

And, before you say it can’t happen, look at what was done economically to the Jews in Germany before they got around to rounding them up for the camps and gas chambers.

So enjoy the crumbs the government is tossing your way for now.
