Taurus Customer Service Win

I’ve got this older Taurus .44 revolver that has never worked out just right. It needs a new mainspring, and the stock grips are really radically not what I’m used to. But these are things that can be fixed, as soon as lazy ol’ Uncle Joel gets a round tuit.

I’d heard good things about Taurus customer service from other sources, but this was my first direct experience and I must say the guy I dealt with was very pleasant and helpful. Once I got out of automated phone-tree hell, which was not unusually awful, the fellow I spoke to looked up the parts I needed with no big issues, didn’t lecture me on what couldn’t be done, which I half-expected, and was quite pleasant about it. The parts are in stock and almost unbelievably low in price. I could have ordered them over the phone if I’d had plastic, but I’ll have to take another path.

Even so, good service should be acknowledged since I’m always so quick to complain about bad service. Kudos!
