Now that things seem to have cleared up a bit, I have to go. But I want to say a word about Ian’s newest video.
People familiar with Forgotten Weapons may be aware that Ian is a southpaw, and may notice that he’s shooting the CZ-52 right-handed. This is directly due to the fact that his highly-trained videographer somehow managed to shoot the “shooting” portion of the video without noticing that the camera was not recording. Therefore it had to be re-shot.
In the interest of time, we just stepped outside Landlady’s house (where the technical part was shot) and did it again. But for Ian to shoot the pistol left-handed in a way that allowed the pistol to be properly seen, he’d have had to fire toward dogs and water tanks and solar panels. This seemed like a bad idea. Therefore he turned around and shot the pistol right-handed.

That explains the malfunction on the last shot.
That wasn’t a malf, actually, it was just locking open on an empty mag.
I thought you just threaded the film through the internet backwards…
I don’t suppose you could’ve saved ammo by just pretending to fire while making “pew-pew” sounds? I had to do that once at an Admiral’s funeral; not the “pewpew” part. See, one rifle always jammed and I never got it when we practiced but when it was for-reals… Set the weapon down gently as the spent brass is holding the bolt back and we wouldn’t want to shoot off our ear, now, would we?
Funny, I’ve been going through the FW youtube archives and the sacking reference was made nearly from the beginning. Glad you’re doing what you’re doing.
